CLASSIFICATION OF TROPICAL SPRINGS

Tropical’ springs are catalogued according to Prof. Dr. Marotta and Dr. De Sica in the catalogue of springs in Italy, as alkaline-sulphate-ferrous.
The pH value of the springs is 7.2.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECT THROUGH LIGHT RADIATION

Radeon noble gas is weakly radioactive and physically soluble in thermal water. It emits those weak alpha rays that stimulate the activity of the adrenal cortex and gonads, which have an antispasmodic and sedative effect, and stimulate enzymatic activities. The average duration of the rays is 3-8 days. The dissolved mineral salts and alpha rays, with their penetration and temporary stay in the body, have a healing activity with different mechanisms of action:

  • local external action on the skin, mucous membranes and tissues with which the thermal water comes into contact.
  • action on the individual systems towards which the thermal water is able to exert a particular effect.

This means that the various minerals and alpha rays provide effective pain relief and a beneficial influence on the entire organism. Movement in water results in greater mobilisation of joints, a strengthening of muscle action and an improvement in general health.
